What is a
Group Code?
A Group Code is an optional identifier that participants can enter on the survey form when submitting their EUR/USD forecast.
Participants that include a Group Code with their survey response have their results compared against the global survey result as well as being compared within the smaller sub-group of other particpants that have used the same code.
This allows communities, brokers, prop desks, classes, forums, friends or any other group or community to compare forecasting accuracy within their own group while still contributing to the global survey.
How Are Group Codes Created?
Group Codes are user generated by typing a code into the Group Competition Code box at the bottom of the survey form.
Group Codes consist of 3 to 30 alpha-numeric characters as well as the following five special characters ! @ $ – _ No spaces are allowed.
How Are They Used?
When you enter a Group Code on the survey form, you automatically become part of that group for that survey. Your forecast will then be compared with other participants who used the same code.
Why Use a
Group Code?
Group Codes allow participants to compare forecasting accuracy within their own community.
Survey winners will have their group named on the Hall of Fame page, generating recognition and prestige for the whole group!
This can be useful for:
- broker communities and client groups
- trading education courses and classes
- online trading communities (Discord, Reddit, etc.)
- trading desks or professional teams
- university finance and economics classes
- research groups or discussion forums
- groups of friends comparing forecasts

Group Codes can represent any community or group.
Simply agree on a shared code and enter it when submitting your forecast.

Everyone who enters the same Group Code will have their results compared with other participants using that code.
Tips for choosing a
Group Code
- Use something meaningful to your group or community
- Longer codes are less likely to be guessed by others
- Avoid very common names or simple words
- Groups that want privacy can use a unique phrase or abbreviation
Group Codes are open and not restricted, so choose something distinctive if you want to limit unexpected participants.
